Refund Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
1. The 14-day guarantee
Your first paid subscription - Pro or Max, monthly or annual - comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Chaseboard is not what you hoped for, ask us within 14 days of that first charge and we will give you a full refund. No questions, no forms, and you do not owe us a reason.
Both paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and a trial is never charged. The 14-day window runs from the first real charge - the one after the trial ends - so trying the product costs you nothing either way.
The guarantee covers the first charge on an account. It is a genuine try-it-and-see window, not a discount you can take twice.
2. Renewals and cancelling
After that window, renewals are not automatically refundable. You do not need them to be: you can cancel at any time from the billing tab in Settings, and your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is charged again.
When the paid period ends your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted by the plan change - your board and your watches all stay. What changes is how often we look: on the free plan, up to 3 fast watches are checked every minute, every other watch is checked every 15 minutes, and auction ending alerts keep working on every watch. If you were using more than 3, the ones highest on your board are the ones that stay, and you can change which ones from your board at any time.
Changing plan or billing cycle is not a cancellation and does not need one: open the billing tab in Settings and switch it there, and your existing subscription moves across.
If a renewal genuinely caught you out - you meant to cancel and did not get to it - write to us anyway. We would rather look at it than have you feel stung by a charge you did not want.
Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live, or under Paddle's buyer terms. Where those give you more, they apply.
3. How a refund reaches you
Payments for Chaseboard are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase - Paddle is the name that appears on your statement, and Paddle is who the receipt comes from. Approved refunds are issued back through Paddle to the original payment method; we cannot send one anywhere else.
Once a refund is approved it usually takes a few business days to show up, depending on your bank or card issuer. That last step is theirs, not ours.
4. How to ask for one
Use our contact form within the 14-day window, and send it from the email address on your Chaseboard account so we can match the request to the purchase. Say that it is a refund request - that is all we need. You can also email us directly at contact@getchaseboard.com.
Every request gets a reply. If you have not heard back, assume we missed it and nudge us.
5. The free plan
The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund on it. It holds 53 cards, and you can keep using it without ever paying us.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update these terms as the service changes. Any update is posted on this page with a new date at the top, and it applies to purchases made after that date - a change here never shortens the guarantee on something you have already bought. See also our Terms of Service.
