Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and accepting these terms

Chaseboard is operated by Lee Sharon, an individual based in Israel ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@getchaseboard.com.

By using Chaseboard (the "service") you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 to use Chaseboard. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid plan, and they are responsible for the purchase.

2. The service

Chaseboard is a watchlist and alert tool for Pokemon card collectors: it displays active eBay listings for cards you choose to track and can notify you when new listings appear. Anyone can sign up for a free account. We keep working on the service, so features can change, and some may be removed; section 11 says what happens if that affects a paid plan.

3. Paid plans, trials and billing

Chaseboard has a free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Max, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout before you pay.

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends the receipt, and handles payment questions and returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged for the first period. After that your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time in Settings, under Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

If we change the price of a paid plan, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

4. Affiliate disclosure

Chaseboard participates in the eBay Partner Network. Links to eBay on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made after clicking them, at no extra cost to you. See our Privacy Policy for how the associated tracking cookies work.

5. Market data disclaimer

Listing data and asking prices shown on Chaseboard are sourced from eBay and are provided for informational purposes only. All of it may be late, incomplete, or inaccurate. Nothing on the service is financial, investment, or purchasing advice - always verify a listing on eBay before buying. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on data shown in the service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to access other users' data or non-public parts of the service.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Third-party links and services

The service links to eBay and displays data from eBay's APIs. Your use of eBay is governed by eBay's own terms and policies, which we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of third-party sites or for transactions you enter into on them.

8. Intellectual property

The Chaseboard name, design, and software are our property. Card names, images, and listing content belong to their respective owners; eBay data remains subject to eBay's rights and policies. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the service except as these terms allow.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that alerts will be delivered for every new listing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or missed purchasing opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using Chaseboard at any time, and close your account by asking us at contact@getchaseboard.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your paid account for any other reason, or shut down a paid feature you rely on, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the date above updated. Continuing to use the service after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
